Utility Bill Payment Options
The City of Dilworth offers multiple convenient ways to pay your utility bill. Please review the options below to choose what works best for you.

Direct Payment (ACH) – Recommended Option
Our Direct Payment program is the easiest and most cost-effective way to pay your utility bill.
• Payments are automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account on the 20th of each month
• No fees to participate
• Ensures your bill is always paid on time
• Option to enroll in paperless billing and text reminders through our online portal

Only the amount of your monthly bill will be withdrawn. Customers may stop payment by notifying City Hall at least 10 days prior to the 20th.

Online Bill Pay Portal
Our new online portal provides flexible payment options and additional features:
• Pay using credit/debit card or e-check (processing fees apply)
• Choose your own payment date
• Enroll in paperless billing to reduce mail
• Sign up for text reminders to never miss a due date
This option is ideal for customers who prefer flexibility, while Direct Payment (ACH) remains the best no-fee option.

RESIDENTIAL USERS

The city’s utilities (Water, Sewer & Garbage) are billed on the 5th day of each month.

Meter Fee 5/8" to 3/4"..................... $14.00 + water rate based on usage

Meter Fee 1" .................................. $21.46 + water rate based on usage

25,001 to 37,500 gallons.............	$6.56 per 1,000
37,501 to 50,000 gallons.............	$6.85 per 1,000
50,001 and over..........................	$7.14 per 1,000

 

SEWER RATE:

Calculated as follows:

November thru April: Water dollar charge x 1.22 = monthly charge

May thru October: Water usage (Nov-April) / (# of months with usage) X 1.22 = monthly charge
