Elections

The city is responsible for running local, state and national elections with the assistance of the Clay County Auditor's Office. The polling place for the city is the Dilworth Lutheran Church, 406 3rd Street NE.  Polls are generally open from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm.

The mayor is up for election every four years and the four council seats are elected to four year terms.

Minnesota Voter Registration Applications are available at City Hall, 2 First Ave SE, or online at https://www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/register-to-vote/ for those who would like to fill out the application in advance and take it with them when they go to vote at the Dilworth Lutheran Church.
