Clean Up Week
Dilworth Cleanup Week Rules
- Regular weekly household garbage pickup is still Tuesday for all residents.
- Set garbage out on the boulevard the night before your pickup day to prevent the wind from blowing items around.
- Separate items of the same type into distinct piles. Separate trucks will collect the items.
- Help reduce Cleanup Week volume by donating gently used items to local thrift stores.
- NO TIRES!
- All items must be from residential households; no commercial waste is accepted.
- Crews will not pick up items that are not allowed under the guidelines on this flyer.
- Crews will not return to pick up garbage after the trucks have gone by.
- We will pick up appliances and microwaves once a disposal fee is paid at City Hall and pickup is arranged. Disposal of appliances can be done anytime throughout the year. Contact City Hall with any questions at 218-287-2313.
- Residents can bring yard waste (leaves and grass only) to the southwest corner of the maintenance building at 600 Center Avenue West. This site is available April thru mid-October.
- Garbage and Recycling totes must be 5 feet away from items on the boulevard.
Dilworth Recycling Center accepts cardboard, all clear and colored glass, #1, #2, and #5 plastic containers, steel, tin and aluminum cans, office paper, phone books, magazines, newspapers, and residential fluorescent light bulbs.
