The Recycling Drop Off Center is located at 202 2nd Avenue SE
Hours:
Monday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It is the objective of our Recycling Center to encourage the reuse of valuable resources and to reduce the quantity of solid waste that must be land filled. At this time our program can accommodate several specific types of recyclables. Only clean, sorted material of the types listed below can be accepted.
ALUMINUM CANS – please rinse out.
CARDBOARD – only corrugated cardboard, brown paper bags or paperboard ie. shoe boxes, cereal and food boxes and chipboard. (Please NO waxed board or white boxes that come from the refrigerator or freezer section).
GLASS – rinse and remove the cap, paper labels may be left on, only clear, brown (amber) or green glass can be accepted.
MAGAZINES – please separate from newspaper and other paper.
NEWSPRINT – include anything that comes in the newspaper.
PAPER – computer and office paper is acceptable, along with envelopes with or without windows, white or pastel letterhead, copier or typing paper, manila folders, non-thermal fax paper, brochures and various combinations of paper including junk mail.
PHONE BOOKS – accepted March 17th to May 10th.
PLASTIC BOTTLES – rinse and remove caps. Paper labels may be left on. At this time only #1, #2, and #5 plastic can be recycled. These include soda bottles, milk jugs and detergent containers. Check the bottom of the container, the number is located in the recycle symbol.
STEEL & TIN CANS – please rinse and put lid inside of can.
