DGF Dribbles Past Pelican Rapids
February 8, 2008
Glyndon, MN- Facing the pressing defense of the Vikings, the DGF boys basketball team decided to use their ball handling skills to dribble around the opponents. The decision paid off as the Rebels went on to defeat the Vikings 67-46.
“We have a couple of guys that can really handle the ball,” Rebels first year coach Jason Sunde said, “and what an asset that is in a situation when you have the lead in a game.”
The Rebels did all that dribbling and only gave up four second-half turnovers. The Vikings ran a full court press, trying to trap players and force turnovers with only a few minutes left on the clock.
